La Manga Amusement parks: There are lots of amusement parks in la Manga which are fairly close to la Manga Club itself. As you would expect with the fantastic la Manga climate amusement and theme parks have been built to entertain your children while at you are at la Manga Holiday Resort. You won't be disappointed.
- Torrevieja Aquopolis is situated in Torrevieja about 30 minutes from La Manga Club up the A7 Motorway towards Alicante. It is open all Summer from 11am and offers fantastic fun for everyone. It has fantastic slides into enormous swimming pools.
- Terre Mitica Have a Theme Park North of Alicante which would be a great day out for the kids but involves more than an hour's hard drive.
- Terra Natura Park in Murcia is a theme park near la Manga Club.
- There is also Aqualandia a water park near la Manga Club in Murcia
There is a plan to open a Paramount Theme park in Murcia in 2015. This may be deferred of course because of the economic crisis in Spain

You do have to make a drive to get to any of these Parks but for some Kids it may be the only way to burn off that excess energy they seem to be blest with. Some dads also like this and it can bring out the kid in most of us. Some of us - like the author- get sea sick sitting on a swing.
It is only about an hour to most of these places which is nothing really. Going this far it is wise to have the full collision waiver insurance. If you dealt with La Manga Rent a Car its just a matter of popping into the office in La Manga Club. I have not be able to crack the issue of updating Insurance half way through a holiday when I have rented from other companies.
