The facilities for diving around la Manga Club could not be better. There are the pools in La Manga Club itself and a great open sea site just offshore. Cabo de Palos is the main sea diving centre and you can see groups leaving in inflatables from the harbour all through the day.
There is a protected sea park just off Cabo de Palos in the Med. Known as Islas Hormigas has abundant sealife off a group of small islands. Feeding ensures a great supply of Mediterranean fish to observe. There is also beautiful coral to see.
There are also some world class wreck dive sites with wrecks dating back to WWII and even WW1 and are by now heavily encrusted with sea corals and are abundant in sea life.
Scuba Diving is a fantastic way to enjoy the exotic nature of La Manga Club. The beauty of the Mediterranean is there for you to enjoy and there are lots of interesting things to see.
