la Manga Club Tennis is second to none in the world. It is certainly the ultimate tennis resort in Spain. There are 28 courts of which 20 are clay, four are hard and 4 are artifical grass, There are also two paddle courts and a squash court. Tennis at la Manga anyone?
The La Manga Tennis Club holds tournaments for all formats and standards some of which can be joined by visitors. People who want a partner can write their names up on the notice board of the Tennis shop.
There is an exhibition match every Friday at 7pm giving fans a chance to see some exciting la Manga Tennis. Many fans have a drink at the same time at the Tennis Bar

On the 4th to 10th December 2011 La Manga Club Resort hosted the Murcia Open Championships. This was the 9th Murcia Seniors' Tennis Open, an official ITF Seniors Tournament (category 3) held at La Manga Club's superb 28-court Tennis Centre. With men's and ladies' singles and doubles competitions, There were ITF ranking points up for graps and prizes of over Eur8000,.
Learn Tennis at Home before travelling to La Manga Club
On any time of the day as you stroll around that part of La Manga Club you can hear the sound of tennis balls being hit. Its a strangely romantic sound like the gentle sound of stays and other gear gently flapping in a Marina. Its like the sound of Wimbleton or any other major tennis centre.
The Tennis Centre also has a great shop with nice clothes and shoes and a tennis racquet restringing machine. There is a gym at the Tennis Centre and an excellent massage centre with a specialist in sports injuries as I found out personally. Tennis in la Manga really is a great experience and with the Academy it is a fantastic place to improve your game and that of your children.
