Membership of the Owners Club is an important benefit, Without doubt this is the best value for money way of eating out in la Manga. It has the air of an expats club in the Far East. If you are an owner in la Manga its well worth trying the Owners Club for Lunch and Dinner. The Owners Club is also the centre for several popular events. Every Thursday the Owners of La Manga join in a Texas Scramble golf game which is great fun and where you will meet a lot of other Owners. The lunch after the game is held at the Owners Club - Food is free.
Owners are also encouraged to join in the Clubs that run at the Owners Club.
The weekly La Manga Art Club meets on Saturday except during the high season. The range of talent is very broad so just join in.
There is an excellent and popular La Manga Bridge Club
Regular Quiz evenings are held by the La Manga Quiz club
Other societes such as the La Manga Cricket Club, hold meeting there
La Manga Golf Club. As an Owner you are automatically a member of the Club and can join in special competitions held for owners. Of course its better if you live for a good part of the year at La Manga Club but we are only there for a few weeks a year and really enjoy it.
The same is true for the Tennis Club in la Manga and one day a week is dedicated to owners competitions
There is an active la Manga Bowling Club
And a la Manga Theatre group that arranges visits to events in the area as well as trips to Alhambra and shopping trips
Many Owners in La Manga Club travel to La Manga in the Late Autumn and stay until Late March or April. That way they miss the misery of the British winter with all its floods and flu and ice and damp. Many believe that they avoid many of the common health problems by spending part of their lives in La Manga Club. We feel that's true although its not for everyone. If you live in two places it may be difficult for you to be truly in either place - some people seem to thrive on it.
La Manga Villa rentals : Many owners rent out their villas for some months every year when they are not using them. This is a great way of paying for the costs of ownership. Be careful of who you deal with. La Manga Spain went into liquidation in 2010 owing half a million around the club. The la Manga Spain website is still running and its sister site La Manga Rentals.com but who would trust these people now. These websites are still run bt the Lees along so be careful - contact the administrator for a briefing.
My La Manga Club has been set up for Owners to rent their villas direct to holiday makers. Contact the administrator of My la Manga Club by using the contact button at the top of the page or ring 0044 7768 720 208.
