Horse Riding in la Manga Club is available at Rancho de la Fuente near the town of los Belones very near La Manga Club. Fine Andalutian horses and expert tuition are available to take you into the heart of the Murcia countryside. There are about 60 horses available for adults and the skilled to ride and there are Shetland ponies and some older nags available for children and beginners. A favourite at my La Manga Club it is so much fun!
Tracks include mountains and a beach ride as well as gentle tracks across open countryside.

To book a horse ride you should go to the Stables and discuss what you want with the owner. Our only concern was the lack of hard hats. The tutors looked so normal on a horse without hats it was like they were born on them. They probably did not need a hat but I have known people seriously injured falling off a horse - What would have happened if they had not had hard hats on ???
If you are going to have an active holiday you should have good travel Insurance. Buy your travel Insurance from My La Manga Club.
The teachers at the stable never seem to wear any hats . It probably advisable if you intend to ride a bit while at La Manga Club to bring your own hard hat with you.

We ( Wife and I) had lessons and then rode old nags at a plod across the fields. Its funny animals seem to know when you are frightened and play with you. My wife's horse started to lie down with her on the back. Luckily she got her foot out of the stirrup and was able to stand clear as the horse rolled fully on its back - end of riding forever for wife.
