La Cala Restaurant in La Manga Club is probably the the finest seafood restaurants in la Manga and one of the best you will find in la Manga and Murcia. Set in a cliff-top position overlooking La Cala beach you can sip rose or white wine and gaze over the Mediterranean. The setting is perfection and the food just divine. Its hard to pick a favourite dish when you love them all. Eating out in la Manga Club is such a joy with restaurants such as La Cala
You can't book at La Cala so turn up early - the wait for fine food and a nice seat is well worth it. There is never much of a queue but its a bit disappointing if you turn up a bit late and can't get a table
The restaurant is open daily for Lunch and Dinner in the season A great treat is to laze on the beach at La Cala after you have eaten in Heaven - fine dining in la Manga at its best.

One of my favourite dishes is their Garlic Prawns with lots of fresh bread and a crisp Gailician Wine. Their seafood platters are excellent and the Lobster - heaven on a plate.
We try to get the little table in the corner - you have an unbroken view of the sea and the beach. It can get a little hot there so you need to bring your hat. Even if you don't get that seat any of the side tables are excellent and the food is good enough to compensate for missing the choice tables.
Sadly La Cala does not open all the way through to the Autumn. We think the weather down there gets a bit rougher since it is part of the Mediterranean. To get over that I have learned to cook the garlic prawn dish so we have it at home.
The seafood down at the Harbour in Cabo de Palos is also excellent especially on a Sunday after the market. We love the restaurant under the marquee
