Kitesurfing in la Manga is one of the really great thrills today giving you the chance to soar over the waves pulled by the wind. Sadly I think that I am a bit old to try it but from what I've see in the UK it is fantastic. The winds along UK beaches are perfect for this sport although the sea is a bit cold

The nearest Club and School we could find was in Murcia. A company called Maskite has a great web site. They claim to run a school and to provide everything necessary to enjoy this great sport. You could talk with Charter Muffy about the locations of this and other specialist places for watersports in La Manga

Is it boring to suggest that you have really good travel insurance in la Manga before you take to the waves? There may be a clause for high risk sports in your policy so check it out.

There is what looks like a cool centre for the sport near where we live in North Wales. You could use our cottage in North Wales (contact the administrator) as a Base and travel for lessons over to Aberdovey. Then why not use one of our villas in La Manga and test your skills in the Med

There is the Water in la Manga of course both in the Mar Menor and the Med. La Manga wind is perfect for the watersports enthusiast - Most days there is a good breeze on the Mar Menor and of course its great for sailing out in the Mediterranean - If you can get someone to charter you a boat. You can in fact charter a large boat with skipper for 11 people from Charter Muffy.
