Golf Practice in la Manga Club: There is no place so well laid out in La Manga Club as the practice facilities. The driving range has 80 floodlit bays with plenty of room even for big Bertha shots so fire away. There is an excellent pitching area with huge bunkers to practice with. Then there are two enormous greens to tune your putting.
These practice grounds are one of the finest in the World so even if you cant get a game in on your la Manga holiday you can still keep you eye in or iron out a problem.

We have been down to the Practice grounds at all times of day and night. I used to love coming here with my sons we would have great competitions with drivers, 5 irons, 9 irons and Pitching Wedge. There are plenty of targets to go for and of course there is the longest drive. Sadly my 6ft son would always have the edge here.
We also used to have private lessons here with one of the pro's from the Academy. Its interesting to evesdrop on the lesson of someone else and pick up some pointers. Often you will find people down there giving a friend a lesson and again its possible to stand close enough to be part of it. I am a great believer in the need for golf lessons. Practising without a very controlled target is a bit dangerous as practice makes permanent in golf as well as perfect.
You will meet some really nice people down at the practice ground - often you can ask them if there is something troubling you about your swing - I have had lots of help - I need it.

A good way to learn golf I believe is to have a lesson on one aspect of your swing and then practise that down at the driving range in la Manga Club until you have it before going on to something else - just like learning a musical instrument. When you try to learn the whole thing its a bit mind boggling
