Flamenco Festival La Union (Cante de las Minas) 3 August - 13 August remembers and celebrates the history of mining in La Union, La Manga. This festival celebrates the tradition of flamenco dance and guitar.
La Union in Murcia hosts one of the world's most important flamenco dancing festivals, It attracts flamenco artists from all over Spain and the world to compete in three competitions. - the Miner's Lamp, for guitar. Finally there is a Dance competition. The festival ends with a gala performance of song music and dance.
The music combined with wine, exhibitions and lessons makes a fantastic time for everyone. You can also buy tickets for the gala performance on line at the tourist office in La Union.
