Fishing in la Manga: La Manga Fishing is as good as it gets when you are out in a boat with the blue Mediterranean all around you. There is some great sport to be had from baracuda, tuna, bream, groupers and John Dory among many others. The picture above is not very good but I love those smiles and I can't bring myself to replace it yet.
For sea fishing in la Manga you can fish from the shore all around the coast but to get the best of la Manga fishing you should try to get on a boat. www.chartermuffy.com have started deep sea fishing in la Manga as well as fishing trips in the la Manga Mar Menor la
There is nothing quite like Sea Fishing. Even off the shore there is a great thrill of hunting some of the biggest fish. The noise of the waves itself is exciting and of course the tackle is heavier hinting at the battle to come. With large pieces of bait and good size hook the fun has started.
Pollack are a plentiful fish in the seas I have fished as well as mackeral. The Pollack give an enormous tug as they attack the bait and then battle you all the way to the shore.
Fishing off a boat at sea is fantastic. You have a chair and sometimes you have to be strapped in depending on what you are going after. Chater Muffy will know where the wrecks are underwater and therefore the best place to catch good fish. Line caught fish like this are sustainable so if you fancy a seafood feast you can always take your catch home. Your charter Captain will be able to tell you which fish are good to eat and which are endangered.
There is also an excellent BBC recipe for Med fish Soup
Charter Muffy offer to drop visitors off at appropriate beaches for la Manga jet skiing and water skiing in la Manga. as well as their la Manga boat rides. The Mar Menor with its relatively warm shallow waters are perfect for water sports such as water skiing - places along the miles of beaches are also reserved for jet skiing and are perfectly safe.
