Bellaluz Cafe

Bellaluz Cafe in La Manga Club: Great place for a coffee any time - informal snacks al fresco. This is a relatively new venture in La Manga Club taking the place of the Carolina Shop which carried candles villa onaments etc. This is a great improvement to the square and balances it up nicely with El Bistro, Fairways, the supermarket and other shops.

We can also help you find great value flights and car hire with ebooker

Or Travel Insurance with Flexicover

The owners on the Cafe Carolina and her family had a struggle with the Hyatt which at one time controlled most of the restaurants and the Hotel. The group took control of El Bistro but let the whole place decline. Now with the Family back in control and with the support of the Owners great improvements have been made. Bellaluz Square is now a much more welcoming place and there is certainly a lot more happening.

rent a villa direct from ownersIts very interesting to see the square at different times of day. Early morning there is a hush about the place with just a few people dotted around having an early morning cup of coffee with the paper. This hush lasts right through to Lunch time when a number of people have lunch at el bistro. The buzz subsides again in the heat of the afternoon but there are plenty of umbrellas up so there is no shortage of shade.

Later life really starts. Dinner is always busy and on a recent visit to La Manga Club we met Mario, Carolina's brother. He now runs the restaurant carrying on his father's ideas of good service and food and value for money. The restaurant carries a good selection of wines and the house wine is very good.

Bellaluz Cafe is a great place to read the Times! Coffee under the sun, a croissant and the Times - Perfection.

Its a great place to recharge the batteries after shopping `in the supermarket and before the walk back up to the villa.
