Bar 37 is one of the best bars in the la Manga Club Resort. It is tucked away above the Club House for the North and South Course at La Manga and offers a place to relax after a game of golf or just a place for a snack in a nice environment. If you are very thirsty after your game you can be served directly from the bar or you can wait for the friendly, excellent service
This is one of the la Manga bars that is open from early till about 6-7pm every day. The beer is good and cold. La Manga Tapas dont get much better than at Bar 37. Tapas are served at lunch time and they have some excellent other snacks. We can recommend the Burger and the Club Sandwich both served with chips - classic and very tasty. There are also some healthier options with a variety of salads
You can sit out on the veranda overlooking the practice ground. The bar has put up sails to give shade and these flap around in the breezes from the Mar Menor. The combination of the breeze and the shade is very relaxing - this is a very nice place to sit with friends.
You can also watch the players approach the 18th hole on the North Course at La Manga Club from large panoramic windows. Most players lay up to just before the Barancas which brings them for their approach shot to under the windows of Bar 37. Its great to relax and watch the different styles of players. The golf swing comes in a huge variety as you probably realise. Played well by someone young its a thing of sheer beauty but it sometimes does not look so good. Its all there before you and very interesting. You can tell by the faces of the players whether they have achieved their objective of flying over the Barancas or not or how close they are to the pin - very educational and entertaining.
