La Manga Art Clubs: Every Saturday except in High Summer there is an art Class in La Manga Owners Club House. We have visited it from time to time and the standard of work is very good. Maybe none of the art will end up in the art galleries in la Manga like the fabulous Spanish Artist Juan Gris cubist study of a guitar but that is not the point really,
Some of us who dabble hope that the club continues until we are living in the club more regularly then we can join in. I have been lucky to be able to join the Bangor University Degree course for wrinklies or life long learning as they call it. The whole course is going to take me five years from now to complete.

I have found painting with other people a real thrill. Its always amazing the difference between peoples redition of the same subject. The interaction with other painters and what they are trying to do is wonderful. Giving up your time as a tutor as happens in La Manga Club a lot is extremely good - I hope the tutor gets as much out of it as the students obviously do.
