The Amapola Restaurant at La Manga Club Resort is one of the best Spanish restaurants in La Manga. It offers the finest in Mediterranean and International cusine in a sumptuous setting. This is not just food it is fine dining in La Manga Club at its best. Located at the Hotel Principe Felipe the whole setting makes your evening feel very special.

For an evening at Amapola we feel it right to dress up a bit - best frock and all that. A Lot of the guests are very casually dressed, particularly those that are staying at the hotel but for us it feels like a great night out so we dress accordingly.

Access to the restaurant is through the Foyer of the Hotel with doorman and everything. This is a beautiful space having been remodelled a few years ago.

Its great way to start the evening by having a few drinks first at the Lorca Lounge. They sell the usual here but a Kier Royale made with Cava feels very special and will not break the bank - You can even peruse the menu for the Amapola as you soak up the atmosphere and sip your cocktails.

The menu is sumptuous and sets the tone for a five star evening. Choosing is the problem but then you can take your time.

When you get to your table they serve beautifully fresh bread with some the most fantastic olive oil you have ever tasted and that's the way the evening goes on. By the time you get to the Coffee you will have experienced a truly gastronomic meal - La Manga eating out does not get better than this.

The restaurant is open also for breakfast. If breakfast is your favourite meal of the day like mine there is no better way to splash out probably in the whole of Spain.

The Amapola is a definite favourite at My La Manga Club. My Family and I have only had a few dinners at the Amapola but they were all fabulous. We have stayed at the hotel a few times and had breakfast there - great. The staff really do work hard to make you feel special while you are with them.
